Aligning the StarPointer Finderscope is a straightforward process. This one-time setup should be done during daylight hours. Begin by selecting a distant, easily identifiable object, such as a streetlight or tall tree. Position your telescope so it's approximately aimed at the object, then fine-tune the alignment using your low power eyepiece until the object is centered. Once centered, activate the red dot and adjust its position using the two knobs on the side and underneath the finder until the red dot overlays the object in your eyepiece.
