My recommendation is that you replace the tips if you plan to wear the shoes to a special event. The shoes are sold with the current heel tips AS IS. Having sold a dozen vintage shoes, I quickly learned that the vintage heel tips break quickly because the plastic gets dry over the years. These shoes are non-returnable.
