Description: Charles Monroe ''Sparky'' Schulz [1922 2000] was an American cartoonist and the creator of the comic strip, Peanuts which featured the characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy among many others. Schulz is considered as one of the most influential cartoonists of all time. At its height, Peanuts was published daily in 2600 papers, in 75 countries, in 21 languages and over a 50-year period which included Schulz drawing 17,897 published Peanut strips. Listed for auction is a wonderful, framed display which contains the authenticated autograph of Charles Monroe Schulz. The autograph is signed on a title page removed from a book titled ''The Snoopy Festival'' which was written by Charles Shulz and released in 1975. The page contains the title of the book, the image of snoopy and the autograph is signed ''Happy Birthday Charles M. Schulz'' in blue pen. The page measures 8.50 x 11.00 inches and is in fine condition and the autograph is bold and uninscribed. The autograph has been authenticated by JSA Authentication and will be accompanied by the above Letter of Authenticity. The display contains a great color image of Charles Schulz at his drawing desk along with an image of all of his characters from his iconic Peanuts comic strip. The last item is a professionally engraved plaque which reads as follows, ''Charles Schulz November 26, 1922 - February 12, 2000. Peanuts was published daily in 2,600 papers in 75 countries, 21 languages. Over 50 years, Schultz drew 17,897 Peanuts Strips. The scripts, plus merchandise and product endorsements, produced revenues of more than $1 billion per year, with Schulz earning an estimated $30 to $40 million annually''. The display is professionally assembled, and triple matted in a grey linen outer matte which is accented with a red and a black inner matte. The display is completed in an ornate silver and black wood frame to the dimensions of 19.00 x 17.00 inches. The display is very attractive, the autograph is authenticated, signed on a desirable image containing the iconic image of Snoopy and ready to be displayed.
