I strive to be as accurate as possible with each one, whether it's the location of grab-irons, or unique details such as a bent door handle. Coming from a model train background, I like to think of it as precision modeling… on a coffee mug. All mugs are produced by me personally using a process called sublimation printing, where the image is "baked" into the surface. This makes for a finish that is much more durable and scratch-resistant than just a surface print or paint. While they are very durable, they can be scratched by hard metal edges.
