Description: Chinese Porcelain Ink Stamp Seal - 2" x 2" x 2" - Blue & White Landscapes, Poems Being offered is a vintage Chinese Blue & White porcelain Ink Stamp Seal. The porcelain seal features two blue underglaze painted landscape scene panels on opposite sides of the square seal and what appears Chinese poems written in Chinese calligraphy. The top side of the seal is left plain and on the bottom is carved a six character mark. We used red seal ink paste to show the mark made when the seal is used. The porcelain seal measures 2” x 2” x 2” in size. It would make a wonderful conversation piece for your desk or could be used for a curio cabinet display on a small wood stand. Overall, the condition is excellent. There is a faint, tight, glaze hairline that can be seen near the lower right corner of one of the landscapes. This is only on the glaze surface. It does not affect the integrity of the porcelain seal. A great addition to any collection of Chinese blue and white porcelains! As mentioned in the description, there is a very short faint, hairline on the glaze on one of the landscape panels. It is only on the glaze and does not affect the integrity of the porcelain seal. Other than that, NO Chips, Cracks, Nicks, Stains, Scratches, Repairs or Restorations were noted. This porcelain seal has been previously used. The red ink paste on the underside with the mark exhibits this. Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details.
