This knife only has Chipaway on the blade no other name and the blade was made in Germany all Chipaway knives have a German-made blade and the handle is from the states Olive Wood but because of the saving on the packaging $1.26 per knife saved which is done in Pakistan and they stitch the sheath also the international trade laws say they have the right to have their name etched on the knife, again this CW-994 has only Chipaway on it. If you didn't know the cutlery industry says if a name is Stamped on the blade then that is how you are supposed to know where it was made if it's only etched then that country could of packaged the knife or stitched the sheath or both knife companies are saving/making a lot of money just on the packaging 85% of all knife companies send their knives to China, Pakistan or Taiwan for packaging and pay .62 ea. in the U.S. & Germany the cost is $1.88 you should know this why its the only reason you see one of these names on a knife at the end of a year how many knives do you think a knife company has packaged do the math.
