In the classic version of the trick, a knit ball vanishes and appears under the metal cup, and finally, a large ball appears under the cup, completely filling it! Jaws drop when they see this... Bazar de Magia has substituted a soda can for the cup, giving the routine a much more casual and "ordinary" feel. The effect is otherwise the same -- a small knit ball is placed in your pocket, then reappears under the Coke can. This can be repeated a few times, and then end with the larger load -- a small lemon or lime, a rubber ball, etc. I am sure some clever performer will produce a small glass of soda for the final load. :-) NOTE: the can comes with necessary knit balls, but no final load -- you will supply that yourself after you figure out what you want to appear in the can for the big finish. The can opening is the size of a normal soda can top (of course), so narrower than most chop cups. So your final load can be anything that fits into the can opening. But because the can is taller than most chop cups, the load can be taller, or it is also possible to load (for example) two rubber balls at once. Fun to play with the possibilities.The ball which are originally supplied with the can were missing, but I have replaces them with a chop ball set that works perfectly with the gimmick in this Chop Can. The "release" of the gimmick ball does not require unnatural force, yet the ball is secure when you want it to be. This Chop Soda Can is an interesting (and economical) alternative to the more expensive metal chop cups available. The chop ball set is a replacement set, paired with the can because this set of balls works perfectly with the chop can gimmick.
