Description: Chris Conte "The Discarded" H.R. Giger Sculpture Original Biomechanical.This is an ORIGINAL Christopher Conte piece done circa 2011 on a commission. Chris gained notoriety in the NYC art scene and his works have been featured in several films, he has done work for several famous rock bands and was under H.R. Gigers management team and worked with Giger himself. This piece represents the style he was working on around that time in biomechanical sculpture in a series of robotic insects. This one depicts the insect dragging itself from the refuse in an attempt to free itself from the trappings of mans works. It's custom formed metal, wood and acrylic on a frame.
