Description: Here is an unusual wall cross in Coptic Iconography design, featuring scenes from all the major feast day in the CHRISTMAS cycle of the liturgical year: The Annunciation, The Visitation, Birth of Jesus, the Circumcision, Flight into Egypt, Visit of the Magi, Presentation in the Temple and Baptism in the River Jordan. This is heavy paper surface with full color imagery on pressed wood with cut corners to the cross, painted a medium brown on the side edges. The cross measures 13 3/4” long, 9” across, and approx. 3/4” thick, produced in France by 'Theophanie”, Atalier de France, entitled CROIX NOEL, item number DCR60. Graded in Fine condition, used but quite gently, and from a collection of crosses made in the 1970- an unusual and beautiful collector's cross.
