Description: Up for sale is a pair of new, genuine Cibie Oscar Racing Complex Surface driving lens-reflector assemblies.Cibie part # 084544, Block Optique, Surface Complexe "Route de Pointe" labeling on original product boxes.These in period lighting innovations cleverly used the reflector surface rather than lens fluting to shape the beam pattern. Units are replacement lens assemblies, direct fit to any genuine Cibie Oscar "egg shell" housing, as new & unused. These are period, vintage & authentic CIBIE replacement parts from the early 1990's and no longer in production. Never installed, exposed to road use or the elements, they show as described in text & photos. Rare & hard to find in this condition, offered in OE boxes as they left the production facility close to 30 years ago. Matched set, free of lens fluting with lens code markings and proper black Cibie logo etched inside glass face. Correct Valeo production date identification stickers intact on each rear along with CIBIE part number 084544.Impressive field of illumination up to +/-400 metres (1,300') distance penetration dependent on mount height & other factors. These may display very minor evidence of long term environment controlled storage. (see cleaning note) Clear crystal glass lenses and shiny reflectors, never installed, never exposed to the elements or road use. Intended for Oscar housings & bezels only, not compatible with Oscar Plus or Super Oscar, requires H1 type 55 watt bulbs. For best performance I recommend these be thoroughly flushed internally to remove any storage, age contaminants or dust. Use a 50/50% mix of Windex & water, rinse w/distilled water to remove all solution foam. Use w/compressed air to dry.When drying w/compressed air, always take care to firmly hold the lamp & never do this over a hard surface such as concrete. Approximate dimension is 6 inches (152mm) overall diameter w/proper alignment tab atop on rear of lens. These are lens/reflector assemblies only, NOT complete lamps, offered as depicted in photos and described in text. No other parts, bulbs, bulb holders, covers, wiring or pieces aside from those described in text and photos. Shipped via USPS Priority in flat rate box, carefully & securely packed to arrive promptly in "as described" condition.OE boxes will be compressed (folded flat) to allow extra package space for protective packing material.
