Description: Up for sale is a pair of new, genuine Cibie Oscar Racing CS Driving, "SNAP IN" type lens-reflector units circa early 1990's. Cibie part # 084550, Block Optique, Surface Complexe "ROUTE DE POINTE" labeling on OE product boxes, ID stickers intact. These in period lighting innovations cleverly used the reflector surface rather than lens fluting to shape the beam pattern.This style was rather expensive when introduced, most commonly seen on sports racing & prototype racing cars of the day. Units are the SNAP IN style lamps employing a grommeted ring mating to adjustable ball studs on rear of lenses. These are period vintage CIBIE genuine specialty lens assemblies from the early 1990's and no longer in production.Extremely rare & hard to find in this condition, offered as they left the production facility close to 30 years ago. LAST PAIR ! Matched set, free of lens fluting with lens code markings and proper black Cibie logo etched inside of glass face.Includes a pair of Oscar Driving CS lenses w/ball studs, a pair of grommeted mount rings & a pair of H1 bulb connectors. Impressive illumination with an elongated "U" shaped beam designed specifically for long distance reflective penetration. From long term environment controlled storage, very minor evidence of such, offered in their original CIBIE packaging. Clear crystal glass lenses and driving style complex shape reflectors to form the deep U shaped beam spread pattern. Approximate dimension is 6 inches (152mm) overall diameter w/proper adjustable alignment studs on rear of lens. These are specialty use Cibie Oscar CS lens/reflector assemblies only, offered as depicted in photos and described in text. No other parts, bulbs, bulb holders, covers, wiring or pieces aside from those as described in text and photos.
