Description: Offered here is an engraving by the Flemish printmaker, Conraad Waumans (1619-1675) of a self-portrait of the Dutch painter, David Bailly (or Bally or Ballii) (1584-1657). The engraving was published by Jan Meyssens (1613-1670) in the 1649 publication "Image de Divers Hommes". There is an example of the third state (1705) of this engraving in the online collection of the British Museum at No. 1872,1012.3917. The dimensions of the sheet are 6 1/4 inches (sheet) in height by 4 1/2 inches (sheet) in width. This print is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off.
