Description: I am offering for sale a circa 1805 Uniface Medal made by Bertrand Andrieu depicting French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte when he was Premier Consul. It commemorates the Battle of Marengo which he named his horse after. The artist's name, Andrieu, appears on the bottom left above the word Bataille. It is in excellent condition with an age appropriate patina. It measures 2 3/4" in diameter.
