Description: Original Civil War 1/4 tintype photo of a cavalry soldier armed with his Spencer carbine. Has a great painted backdrop. Comes in a full thermoplastic case in good condition. The image is a tad dark, in my opinion it would be a 4 or a 5 on that 1 to 10 scale. Still displays excellent. Carbine images are difficult to find! I will accept the first fair offer! A Sharps carbine image with flaking just sold for $1,500 on here and it wasn’t close to as nice as this one
