Description: Clarence Duncan Chamberlin [1893 1976] was a prominent American pilot of the 1920's and 30's who flew the first transatlantic flight from New York to Europe while carrying a passenger. He was also a military pilot, a barnstormer and set numerous endurance flight records during his aviation career. Listed for auction is a photograph signed by Clarence Duncan Chamberlin. The image is of a monoplane which is identified on the verso as Ruth Nichols airplane and is signed ''Clarence D. Chamberlin'' and dated ''9.19.1974''in blue pen. The photograph is a b/w, measures 5.00 x 7.00 inches, it has trivial creasing around the edges otherwise is in very good condition.
