Description: Clipper Foot switch. Cat No. 632-S. New, open box. Tested, fully functional. This foot switch is uncorded and requires you wire it in. You have the option to wire it in either Normally Open or Normally Closed configuration. 2 installation notes 1) When wiring, take note of the gold switch cover. It calls out which screws are for Normally Open vs Normally Closed configuration. This is important because the microswitch itself is labeled differently than the gold switch cover cloth. If you follow the writing on the switch your switch will operate opposite of how you intend (ex: you want a NO switch but it works like a NC switch). Followed the gold cloth label and you'll get what you want. 2) When screwing the microswitch down to the housing, make sure you push it towards the spring before tightening the mount screws. The switch may not activate if it is not mounted close enough to the spring. If it is correct you'll hear a click every time you depress the foot pedal. This switch is a momentary switch. When you press the switch it will open or close (depending on how you wired it). When you lift your foot it will change states. This is not a pressure sensitive or speed control switch.
