Club Car Precedent 48V 2 Gauge #2 Welding Wire Battery Cable HD Lugs set 4x12V

Description: One set of eight 2 gauge battery cables for Club Car Precedent 48 volt with four twelve (4x12) volt battery setup. These wires are made from premium 2 gauge welding wire. The connectors are 2 x 3/8 copper lugs with tin coating or solid copper lugs with no coating, your choice....copper lugs will be an additional $.50 cent each, with each cable requiring 2. (PICTURE SHOWS BARE COPPER, they will be tin unless ordered with bare copper!) I don't use cheap connectors on my big gauge wires! Make sure you don't get the big gauge wire with crappy little connectors like so many here on eBay do! Each wire is made custom in my golf cart shop by me. Each one is soldered using premium silver solder connections, and then sealed with high quality heat shrink to help prevent future corrosion issues. These wires are; 2 x 32", 1 x 28", 1 x 24" and 4 x 14" long. I do not include the two smaller gauge wires because you don't need them. Those wires are just forward/reverse signal carriers, changing them to large gauge does nothing but cost you more money! If you have a 4x12 setup then you have to deal with your OBC (On Board Computer) that handles charging duties. There are two ways to do this. The first way is that I can leave off one lug, and send it prefilled with solder ready to install. You will route the cable through the OBC and then solder it on. If you aren't comfortable with that, then you'll need option 2 which is that I can split the main negative into two cables and you will need to create a passthrough stud. This will require you to buy about $10 worth of parts from a hardware store. Instructions to do this are included with all cable sets not asking for method 1. Method 2 creates a battery post like connection on both sides of the OBC that will work just like if the cable was routed through it. YOU MUST CHOOSE METHOD 1 OR TWO VIA EMAIL OR YOU WILL GET A FACTORY SETUP WITH NO CHANGES FOR OBC. Other sellers are selling longer cables, or including other unnecessary cables so they can charge you more. Welding wire is commonly sold by the foot, so the longer the wire you buy the higher the price. Some of your factory Club Car Cables are run past the battery poles and looped before turning 180 degrees to attach. More wire means the current has to run through greater resistance in order to reach its final destination, your motor. The reason we upgrade from the factory 6 gauge is to get better flow with less resistance to get the best possible results in battery life, and to achieve maximum potential speed and torque......why make your battery pack work harder sending the current through more wire and greater resistance??? I build custom carts all day long. I service all makes and models, all day long. I always use the shortest possible battery cables for many reasons, but the two main reasons are 1) to save my customer money 2) to help maintain quality battery pack lifespan and function. That being said, the cable will ALWAYS be long enough to safely fit. If you need or want a different size, just ask and I can custom make you a set of any length you desire. I've cruised every cart website out there. I'm a member of most of them, and some of them even a supporting vendor. There is one very large site that is owned by a person who is simply a money hungry jerk off who doesn't care about you, your cart or anything other than the money in your pocket. The main supporting vendor there is one of the worst seller's I've ever seen in my life. His pricing structure is absurd, he insults anyone and everyone who disagrees with him, and has a small cult like following who worship the ground he walks on and claim no one else knows anything and that their guy is godlike....more like antichrist in reality. He gives awful information, claims that he knows everything and that he has a direct phone line to every manufacturer out there and that they all endorse him (they don't even know him much less endorse him)....he acts like he has a very large company and is always to busy to answer the phone. His company is located in California, and it is in his home garage. He will rip you off and then blame you for your stupidity. Several of my customers are folks who were ripped off by him in the past. I expanded all my offerings in response to people he offended asking me to supply them with quality cables at a reasonable price. He doesn't sell on ebay because he has a strict no returns policy and has a reputation to not even warranty his own products.
