Description: This large old, grungy looking bread board with a very long handle is a reproduction of an antique seen at the Antique Warehouse in Bay City. This is so unique. I love it up against our brick fireplace. The originals were used for baking bread in the old brick ovens. It can be displayed in a large basket with other boards or hung with a grouping on wall or hung beside a bowl rack. Measurements of the bread board are approximately 7 1/4" wide x 38"long. The long handle is only 24" long and the main part of the board is 14" long. The board is made from solid pine which may show some of the grain and knots in the wood. (rag tie not included) This item is great for giving your room that PRIMITIVE warm touch. Our board is painted, distressed with a smooth wax finish. Bottom is plain.
