Description: The item presented was a full grown Nutria Rat native to the State of Tennessee. The Nutria was taken by a licensed trapper and prepared by a licensed taxidermist. The specimen was cleaned by beetles, degreased, and whitened. The Skeleton is in as trapped condition at the time the animal was living. There may be some abnormalities that were there during the life of the specimen. Any broken bones that are found during the cleaning process will be noted*. All our skeletons are disarticulated in parts and bagged though the whole process. This makes it easier for the articulater to reassemble the skeleton. We do our best at retaining every small bone that is part of the skeleton, especially the carpal bones of the feet. This is not a guarantee that all of the tiniest bones are available. We can offer whitened and natural colored skeletons. We ship in a 4x6x8 box, all sales are final, no returns will be accepted.
