Computar 2.6mm F:1.6 CS Cmt.lens Pentax Q Q10 Q7 Q-S1 or Nikon 1 series 9+Cond

Description: Purchased by myself as a photographic resale item because it was a Usable ITEM: Huge collection of D-Mount m15 lenses coming see my other items= Pentax Computar 2.6mm F:1.6 Multi coated lens in Cmt. thread CS, Vignettes on m4/3 & APS-C or full frame. Will cover the chip in Pentax Q series or Nikon 1 series mirrorless cameras. weighs less than < 1oz, very sharp helicoil focus........ its Japanese black metal anodized body....Cmt. or m25 INFO: Note from a eBay USER: The lens is CS-mount instead of C-mount. This means it has 12.5mm back focus from the mounting flange, and maybe 6mm of back focus from the rear element. It will not focus to infinity using a Pentax Q to C-mount adapter, since C-mount has 17.52mm of back focus from the mounting flange. Adapters I have seen for Pentax Q are C-mount and not CS mount. It is theoretically possible to make a CS mount adapter for Pentax Q, but no one makes one that I know of. A CS mount adapter would be about as thick as the D-mount adapter that Rainbow imaging sells for Pentax Q. Having noted the above, the 2.6mm lens is an excellent lens with low flare. I have a Computar 2.0mm f/1 (discontinued), a 2.3mm f/1.4, and this 2.6mm f/1.6 lens. Of the three the 2.6mm has the best sharpness and the least flare, though it does have more fish-eye effect (radial compression) than the other I hope this helps. Reply by Eastwestphoto: Wonderful analysis Jeff, when I test these C mount lenses I use a ultra thin C mount adapter. Mostly infinity focus is possible, BUT not always. I have often searched myself for the CS mount like you have stated. As you know its impossible to find, ; however I have a adapter friend on ebay Rami71 user id that I refer buyers too as he can make one or has one already made. Rami71 makes the odd ball adapters, beautifully. Give him a message and maybe he has one? I dont have the Q series digital cameras or adapters; so I was guessing that eBay did and this lens would work for those Buyers.I will post your technical information in a attempt to help others and reduce confusion.
