CONVICT F. Knowles Sentence REMISSION Paper Signed by Van Diemen's Land Premiere

Description: I own this UNIQUE document. It is photographed on my home deck (see many other item listing's photographed in that *same setting*) That is BECAUSE some UTTER TOERAG Thieving Bar Steward THIEF and CONMAN has STOLEN my images😠 Now that TURD is selling online "Prints" of this document for $1400.00 so CAVEAT EMPTOR if seen sold elsewhere? This is the ONLY ORIGINAL copy, now faded in all its antique glory🙂 ONLY the genuine original convict's release/pardon document, in its DOUBLE GLAZED Frame is offered here. The last two images (1 of the Governor, and the MAP of Van Diemen's Land, were "borrowed" off-of the WWW and are NOT AVAILABLE for sale) The British convict Francis Knowles was TRANSPORTED from the UK to Van Dieman's Land around 1820-1830 for an unknown (to me) crime committed in Britain somewhere....Possibly stole the wrong loaf of bread?🙁 Online Court conviction records would likely reveal, to a diligent researcher, Just what heinous act Francis Knowles committed to cause his permenant removal "TRANSPORTATION" from the UK to the antipodes After many years as a well behaved convict he was granted "release" ("PARDONED") and he apparently resided in Tasmania (Van Dieman's Land) for several years His details may be checked & confirmed online in the Tasmanian Library system It also shows (In the library system) that he DEPARTED Tasmania (Van Dieman's Land) for PARTS UNKNOWN a few years after his pardon/release Someone SOMEWHERE probably in another part of Australia (Or possibly HERE in New Zealand?) Will have a family tree that shows this freed convict Francis Knowles was an ancestor🙂 These days it seems that EVERY Aussie WANTS to be the descendant of a CONVICT (Ideally a "First Fleeter") Well Francis Knowles was NOT a "First Fleeter", but he was a very early Transportee, one who was able to reform his ways and earn his freedom This document was issued between 1836 & 1843, the years that Sir John Franklin was Governor of Tasmania then known as "Van Diemen's Land" If your family name is "KNOWLES"? and you are one of the growing number of people interested in GENEALOGY? this unique document could well be a fun research project🙂 Sir John Franklin who was THEN the Governor of Van Dieman's Land and who signed this ancient document? Sadly had a RATHER UNFORTUNATE end trying to prove the existence of The Northwest Passage🙁 AS DID his entire crew🙁.... By April 1848, Franklin and 23 others had perished there. The ships, still gripped by ice, were deserted on April 22, 1848, and the 105 survivors tried to head south across the North American mainland to the Back River, apparently resorting to cannibalism along the way. An old Eskimo woman told McClintock of how the starving men fell down and died as they walked. Postmortems conducted in the late 20th century on the preserved bodies of several crew members suggest that botulism, scurvy, and lead poisoning, possibly contracted from eating faultily tinned food, may have contributed to the mental and physical decline of Franklin’s crew. Franklin had served as governor of Van Diemen’s Land, now Tasmania, from 1836 to 1843. Do please VIEW my ***26 + years *** FEEDBACK selling history on E-Bay !!
