Very nice Copeland Spode Luncheon Plate imported by Davis Collamore & Co of New York. This is in the #4535 Chinese Flowers pattern. This features colorful flowers on bright white porcelain. There is a small bird on a branch eating grapes. Thers is a double ring red verge and trim on a scalloped rim. Davis Collamore & Co. was a high-end New York City importer of porcelain and glass, headed by Davis Collamore. The firm, rivals to Tiffany & Co and Black, Star & Frost, commissioned designs from Copeland Spode and Thomas Minton Sons, that featured hand-painted details over transfer-printed outlines and often rich gilding.
