Beautiful in the garden or in containers, indoors or out.Useful, as well! Place near bulbs, ephemerals and slow-to-emerge perennials as a (charming) reminder that something is there even when it's asleep! I have included a nice variety of heights in each set of five- this ranges between about 7 ¼" and 9 ¾". Comes with your choice of fiberglass stakes - very strong and will not rot in the ground. Simple stake - Just slides inside the lower part of the fiddlehead. Suitable for containers or where they will remain pretty undisturbed. 10 5/8" long.Heavy duty stake -Has a larger diameter bottom section that the base of the copper rests on. I feel that the larger diameter proves more stability if you are likely to disturb them; rake leaves from around them, for instance. 9 5/8" long, base section about 5" long. Handmade from copper tubing (by me, in Illinois). They are not coated in any way, and will continue to weather if left outside. If you want more verdigris, faster, there are numerous recipes online, usually some combination of vinegar, salt and ammonia.
