Description: Coppercraft Guild Wrought Iron Lamp Stand with Hanging Kettle and Warming Candle This black wrought iron stand holds a tea kettle over a copper cup with warming candle (old candle included). It's a vintage piece made even more unique with the addition of lamp works minus the shade. Includes a hanging 11" candle snuffer with a shiny twisted steel handle and copper plated bell snuffer and copper plated kettle with brass spout, swing brackets and black wooden handle. Wrought iron is in excellent condition. All the rest of the pieces, the kettle, lid, snuffer, candle holder and lamp works show various age and user wear. Kettle has upper surface dulling, spotty patina, scratches, large dents and dings. The lid has upper surface dulling, spotty patina, white peeling residue on the inner rim and rusted knob hardware. The candle cup shows light wear and the snuffer has upper surface surface dulling and patina and some wear of the shiny plated surface material covering the steel. The lamp workings are very vintage but do work. They are easily removed (a single wire clamp and holder bracket with screws attach the lighting fixture to the iron stand) to replace with modern lamp workings or leave off if you prefer the stand without the lamp feature. These pieces have not been cleaned nor polished to preserve their vintage condition for the buyer. Stand with lamp works measures approx. 24 ⅜" tall, 8" wide x 10" deep back to front. (Stand alone measures 14 ½" tall). Kettle measures approx. 7 ½" high with handle upright, 4 ⅝" high to top of lid knob, 9 ⅛" wide including spout with a 7 ½" diameter belly. For reference, this kettle holds a maximum 5 cups or 40 ounces.
