Description: Corgi Aviation: Curtiss P-40 'Kittyhawk' in markings of GA-V, 112 Squadron RAF (Libya) circa 1943, as piloted by Neville Duke, in 1/72 scale. Pre-owned, but unused model, in 1/72 scale, and in excellent condition, all as pictured. Model Number: AA35204 This model features the P-40 'Kittyhawk' featuring desert camouflage scheme, with 'shark teeth' detailing to nose and cowling, as pictured. The model features the example flown by much decorated WW2 'Ace' Neville Duke, who, despite being shot down several times, survived the war credited with 27 enemy aircraft destroyed, and became a well known post-war test pilot. For example, in 1953 he broke the air speed record in a Hawker Hunter jet. The model appears in matt camouflage with distinctive nose markings, with sky blue underside surfaces, again as pictured. Model appears with undercarriage affixed in 'landing' mode, as manufactured and issued, and as pictured. This model is still attached to stand, itself still attached to the colourful cardboard base, elastic band holding model to stand still in place, and comes with a clear protective plastic 'bubble' for packaging. Additional packaging will be provided for safe and secure dispatch: please kindly see feedback, as positive remarks about packaging feature! Model comes complete, and features rotating propeller. Multiple pictures provided, comprising part of the description: what you get is exactly what you see here and as described-an excellent example of the 'Kittyhawk' as deployed by the RAF to the desert theatre in 1943. Dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked 48.
