Description: Corgi Aviation: Junkers Ju-52 3/m, in British Airways livery, Registration G-AFAP 1936, in 1:72 scale. Pre-Owned from New. Lovely example of this classic German built tri-prop civil airliner, the Ju-52 (sometimes referred to as the 'Iron Annie') appearing in the silver and black early British Airways livery, as pictured from multiple angles. Model comes in presentation box, in VG-good condition with sleeve, all as pictured. The model has been well looked after, as evidenced by multiple pictures provided from many angles. Model also comes complete with mint colourfully illustrated Limited Edition Certificate Number 0471 of just 1160 issued, again as pictured. A lovely, striking, large and quite heavy model, which looks great as the centerpiece of any display of similar aircraft. The model is a representation of the original as pictured below: G-AFAP had been on display at the RAF Museum at Cosford for many years, and is now transferred to the Kent Battle of Britain Museum Trust. This model comes in a large glossy black presentation box with strong polystyrene inner tray/packaging for safe dispatch/transit in generally VG to good condition: there are storage scuffs to base and to narrow sides. There is also a colourfully illustrated box sleeve in VG-good condition, with moderate storage scuffing, all as pictured. The model inside is clean, sharp and in excellent condition, as pictured. It has been displayed as part of my wider collection in a large cabinet. Time now for someone else to enjoy this example as part of their collection. Please study the multiple pictures alongside the full description provided, as what you see here, and as described, is exactly what you will get on purchase: an excellent example of the Ju-52 in service with British Airways in the mid 1930's, as pictured and as described. Dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked 48.
