Description: If you own a 50 or 60 year old Corvette you can bet that the center of your suspension crossmember is dented. Why? Because it's the ideal location to place your floor jack to raise both front wheels. If your a purist, there's a costly and timely method of pulling and filling the dent. But... you'll still have no place to lift the front end. This repair plate solves the problem. With just 4 bolts you can mount the 3/16' thick, hot rolled boiler plate that covers the dent and provides a super strong jacking point. It will not dent. I've not had one returned, but I make the guarantee that if you dent it (even in a wreck) I'll replace it free. Please check out my feedback... 100% positive. Note: C2 Corvettes used the 4 bottom holes in the crossmember to attach the front bumper supports. They continued to use the same crossmember thru 1982 but eliminated the 4 holes "sometime" during the C3 production. Later year C3's may or may not have these holes. If your's does not, simply transfer the hole location from the new plate and drill (4) 7/16" holes... easy.
