Description: This is a beautifully bound vintage 1952 copy of Mozart's famous opera, "Cosi Fan Tutte" as produced by New York's famous Metropolitan Opera House - bound in an expensive library binding that has held up beautifully- like new really. A few light pencil markings on the inside - they can be erased. Although this opera was bound in 1993 by the library (probably to keep it from falling apart), this published version itself, is not a reprint, but was copyrighted by G. SCHIRMER in 1951/52. The complete opera is here in this book, in both English and Italian. The Italian libretto has been written by Lorenzo Da Ponte; The English translation written by Ruth and Thomas Martin. The binding and condition of this book are excellent - perfect for collector's concerned with posterity. If you consider yourself a connoisseur of the Masters, this is the right addition to your library. A spectacular piece of art and history. Opera book will come as shown.
