Description: COSI TABELLINI Desk Pen Stand w/ Inkwells — Italian 95 Pewter -- Vtg? This pen desk stand was designed in pewter by Enrico Cosi and Sergio Tabellini. The art noveau design appears both timeless and antique, with a soft patina and the inherent imperfections of a hand crafted item. This Kalmos model apparently gained prominence by appearing in the movie (or TV series) Don Matteo as a ‘period’ piece. Designed to hold a dip pen and a pair of glass ink jars, this design is versatile enough to hold standard pens and paper clips, post-its or other desk essentials. Either way, this piece would add class to any office. The front curved area could hold several writing instruments, paint brushes, styluses etc. Includes an uncommon Cosi and Tabellini mark on bottom along with a 95 mark indicating a desired high tin content (and no lead). Measures 18x14 cm (approx. 7” x 5.5”). This appears vintage, though I have not been able to assess the age. CONDITION: This used items shows scratches and scuffs. These marks add to a handsome patina. Please see the detailed photos. One of the inkwell lids opens much wider and and has more left/right play. However, both are fully attached. Packed carefully for shipment and sent with continental U.S. via expedited shipping. (Ships internationally though eBay Global Shipping). NOTE: Historical info above is based on online research and believed accurate, though can't be guaranteed. Be sure to verify with your own research and please alert me to any issues and I will correct them. Reach out with any questions BEFORE purchase.
