Description: This is an 11x14 framed photo signed JSA 3x5 card by Count Basie (D. 1984). The signed card comes with a sticker with a matching number to the basic card which is included in a hard plastic case. I did not frame or attach the signature to the card. You will notice that some attached the signature with clear tape over it. I will not remove it but mention it so that you are aware. I have included pictures of this. It is a great item that would look great on the wall. I put shipping at $19.99 for ground transportation. I will try to see if I can ship it quicker. If it ends up being more for shipping, I'll eat the cost. If it is considerably less, then I will give you the difference. William James "Count" Basie (/ˈbeɪsi/; August 21, 1904 – April 26, 1984)[1] was an American jazz pianist, organist, bandleader, and composer. In 1935, he formed the Count Basie Orchestra, and in 1936 took them to Chicago for a long engagement and their first recording. He led the group for almost 50 years, creating innovations like the use of two "split" tenor saxophones, emphasizing the rhythm section, riffing with a big band, using arrangers to broaden their sound, and others. Many musicians came to prominence under his direction, including the tenor saxophonists Lester Young and Herschel Evans, the guitarist Freddie Green, trumpeters Buck Clayton and Harry "Sweets" Edison, plunger trombonist Al Grey, and singers Jimmy Rushing, Helen Humes, Thelma Carpenter, and Joe Williams.
