Description: This is a really nice hand-engraved antique sterling silver souvenir spoon from Fort Worth, Texas, showing a cowboy on a horse, roping cattle and "Out on the Range, Ft. Worth, Tex." The scene is hand-engraved in the goldwashed bowl in excellent detail, by a skilled engraving artist. It is about 5-3/8" long and is from around 1900. It weighs about 18.9 grams. Maker's marks: "Sterling No. 55" with the old S hallmark used from 1896 until 1906 by Shepard, a quality American company. Engraving: As described above.
