It was a pretty straightforward install, really, and does noticeably add to the stability. Only thing I would add is to use a square to make sure the Z gantry is at an exact right angle to the rest before tightening everything down. For being sturdy it is good but I recommend adding supports to the gantry. The quality is amazing on the prints. Make sure to have a large enough space to place the printer. I took the foam sheet that comes with the packaging and placed it under the printer to reduce some of the noise from the vibration.The instructions on where to install the cables are on the first few pages. This is obvious to me now, but I looked past it the first few times I looked through the book. There are no videos on line on how to set up each one.Do not reduce heat on the bed after a day or two of printing large prints. This reduces the adhesive potential. I found this out the hard way after a four day print came off the bed.Every problem I have had was user error and not the fault of the printer.4.0 out of 5 stars Good, misses being great5 Jun 20It took a few minutes to figure out the sparse instructions. The rods feel sturdy, the brackets seem good, and they labeled things well. Also included spare parts. Here’s the issue - the rods need to be maybe 1/2” to 1” shorter to work better - when the adjusting eyelets are too close to the brackets, the locking nut hits the brackets and moves the arms sideways, in other words, I should be able to install and have the rods run perfectly straight. Because of the nut issue, I have to install a bit looser than I’d like (though still snug) but I can’t screw one of the nuts on each side all the way in.4.0 out of 5 stars Almost a 5 star...13 Feb 20They could have at least done a reverse screw on one side wo it would work like a tension/expansion toggle. Just has right hand screws one both ends. You have to apply pressure to your setup before you screw it in. The included hex nuts are pretty much useless as once the bars are in place the pressure they apply doesn't change because the bar screws up or down. All in all, it serves a purpose and it works.4.0 out of 5 stars This printer saves so much time printing large parts.4 Feb 20This printer is great. Saves so much time from cutting parts to print on a printer with a smaller bed. I can print anything from a wearable helmet to a full size R2D2 on this without chopping up into many parts. I have already logged around 300 hours on this printer and no real issues so far. I do intend to install a BL-touch on this as leveling a bed this large has its challenges.4.0 out of 5 stars good, but no instructions19 Oct 18No instructions, but good otherwise. what you need to know instalation wise, is1. On your CR10 on the front frame extrustion, pull of the plastic cap2. you need to use the provided tap to tap the center hole on the extrusion for the screw however look into the hole & you will see the screw used to bolt the exuded frame together punched through the hole close to face. WHEN YOU TAP THE HOLES, IT CANNOT GO IN VERY DEEP. SO DON'T FORCE TAP OR NEW THREAD YOUR TAPPING WILL STRIP.3. use loctite while bolting & your done... It works well!
