This tool can be used to punch alternating slits for weaving designs on your leathercrafts with the use of a template. The handle is knurled for improved control when punching holes and to prevent the tool from sliding out of your hand. To use this Intrecciato punch, simply download and print templates so you can punch the slits using a guide. Place the template on the leather you want to add weaving patterns to. To keep the template from moving when punching holes, secure it to the leather using a clip or other similar material. Align the tool and use a soft-headed hammer to hit the back end until the slits are created. Always use a cutting board to protect the blade from dulling or breaking while cutting leather.
