This part was made to replace the craftsman part, and to function exactly like the original craftsman part. This part is brand new and works well. You get the inside metal flex part for the craftsman flex drive shaft 113.241680 113.241690 113.241691 table saws. (this listing Does NOT have outer sheath) Please see my pictures of owners manual above. It says lubrication is needed when you first put this shaft into the table saw for first time use. Please use a quality grease. Then after every 80-100 hours of use re-grease this for proper function. If the table saw has not been used for long periods of time the flex cable should be removed and re-greased. This is direct from the craftsman owner manual.
