I ran this motor for about 5 minutes continuous. It started STRONG and RAN SMOOTHLY. It DID NOT: feel hot, smell hot, develop noises/vibrations. This is a HEAVY MOTOR and is NOT suitable for a contractor style saw like the craftsman 113/315 that uses an aluminum mount.
