This is a beautiful work of art! Lithophane means "Vision in Stone" and was first invented in France in 1827. This night light was made by The Porcelain Garden. It is called "Cross" and is a picture of an ornate cross with other Christian symbols in the four corners. We have the night light in stock in Curved Uncolored (NR197). The night light is on a curved porcelain panel approximately 3.5-inches wide by 4.5-inches tall. This is an uncolored night light. When the light is off, you only see a piece of white, etched porcelain. The dark border you see in the picture is actually natural porcelain that has not been etched. When the light is on, you see a beautiful picture with unbelievable details. Makes a great Christmas, Wedding, Baby Shower, Thank You, housewarming, birthday or anniversary gift! The night light comes with an electrical plug that holds the panel in place with two plastic screws. The plug can be mounted on the panel on either the top or the bottom, depending on the outlet that will be used. A 110-volt, 7-watt nightlight bulb and assembly instructions are included with each boxed nightlight. Great birthday or anniversary gift! Because this night light is made of the best porcelain, it is very fragile. Each night light is inspected and tested before we ship it.
