Each side holds up to 24 pounds of hot dogs, while the middle compartment holds up to 48 buns. The unit preheats in about 15 to 20 minutes, but if cold water is used, it may take closer to 30 minutes. Refrigerated hot dogs can take up to 15 minutes to heat up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit internally. The entire Crown Verity 3WHS hot dog steamer is constructed from stainless steel, making the unit durable and resistant to corrosion.
