Description: This nice souvenir enamel pill box was manufactured by Crummles of England. The box is part of the Bermuda Heritage Series that was made especially for A.S,Cooper & Sons Ltd, Hamilton Bermuda (No longer in business). These boxes were first issued in 1979 and were produced annually for almost 30 years. This box is dated 1993 and was made in a limited edition of only 250. It shows the famous 'Waterville' (home of the Bermuda National Trust) on the lid that has been beautifully hand painted and copied from an original acrylic painting by Bermuda artist, Bruce Stuart. The base of the box comes in a black color. The box is oval in shape and measures 2" x 1-3/4" x 1" tall. It comes in great condition with no chips or damage. The gold metal work has some signs of pitting which is pretty common for the Bermuda climate. It comes complete with its original presentation box (although a little stained on the inside) and certificate (signed by the artist). Buyer pays only actual shipping costs with no added charges.
