I am told that the embossing is taken directly from an authentic antique Mason Jar from the 1880's and the crude embossing certainly supports that! A beautiful jar with tiny bubbles, swirling and whittling to the glass. Pics are typical, each jar is hand made and varies makes a great storage jar or candle holder and looks terrific in an Early American, Rustic, Country or Arts and Crafts home! It is made with RECYCLED GLASS which gives it a wonderful light green color, and a crudity not normally found in modern glass. Sets can be made from all half gallon jars, or a combination of pint, midget pint, quart, half gallon, and gallon jars, all with the same beautiful light green color, and matching comes complete with a painted tin lid which looks great on the jar, and the jar will take an old zinc mason lid if you prefer.
