Description: Beautiful Curtis Jere creation from 1993, signed by the creator(s) on the lower right Native American man and woman riding their horses and hauling their possessions along the trail. All hand painted details. What I like is that the artist, by applying the paint to the metal in a special way, created an appearance of stretched leather all across the round metal frame. Nice colors and this heavy, plated glass (like they used to make) plus the frame has a bit of weight at 22.8 pounds. Yet, I only needed one large brass hook and a nail to keep it on the wall. A handsome, evocative work of mixed media art from the Curtis Jere studios.
