Description: Cute vintage hallmark Christmas greeting card, AND a little 14-page story book specifically for mothers from their child. The card depicts the mother being a mare and the child being a pony. Mom is helpful, supportive, caring, brags about you and even gives "tough love". Great color illustrations with interesting black and white illustrations in the background - I first thought someone hand-drew these in but no, it's part of the illustration. BONUS - its unsigned so it actually could be used as a modern greeting card. Could be very special for a mom who likes vintage things. This is approx. 5" x 6" and printed on thick rag-like stock material. It has one center staple which shows a little rust which seeped into the paper, but this is very isolated to a small area near the staple. Condition is overall good with minor issues - small corner ruffles, above mentioned staple and I think I counted 2 small stains. You won't be disappointed with the condition. FYI - Interesting little historical perspective too. Spanking was not looked down upon until the 1980-90s so, considering how it's viewed today, this is an interesting reference that it was acceptable enough to make its way into a I-love-you like greeting card.
