Description: Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton Columbia EAPG Large Covered Compote, Crimped Edge Large covered compote with an intricately crimped edge on the lid. Lovely old EAPG pattern. The crimping effect was produced by a specially built machine and was touted in advertisements of the day. Introduced 1893.Condition: No chips or cracks. The glass is clear, but the bowl does have some scratches, including a fine line around the outside of the bowl. Marks: Unmarked. Dimensions: Bowl: 8" high, 7 1/4" wide. Lid: 3 1/2" high, 8" wide.
