Description: This vintage magazine print ad from 1934 features the iconic Dan Beard, a founding father of the Boy Scouts of America, in a promotional campaign for Sweet Orr Distributors the made uniforms. It also promotes Dan Beards American Boys Handy Book as well. The ad depicts an illustration of Beard in his signature Scout uniform, with the brand's logo prominently displayed. It does have some light yellowing stain in the bottom right corner but for the year it is in nice shape ready to be displayed or put in your collection ~Advertisements & Clippings are only printed once or for a set time and can vary from one source to another in the same year. Many periodicals are ephemeral due to the majority being thrown out after their attended use. Due to this and amongst other reasons many of the ads are collected because there are limited supply of each particular advertisement.
