The main characters are Louise and Jean Dana, teenage orphans, who solve mysteries while attending boarding school. Like their contemporary, Nancy Drew, the Dana girls meet the challenges of each new mystery. I will be listing many books from my childhood collection as it is time for them to find a new home. Dana Girls #7 “The Mystery of the Locked Room”, originally published in 1938. This copy is later version of the green tweed. Book has a wraparound DJ which has been preserved in a mylar jacket. The dust jacket has some chips & tears along the edges and wear along the front fold. There is an inscription inside the book’s title page from Christmas of 1956. (See photos).
