Description: Here I have for sale a well-preserved 2 volume set of Daniel Defoe's A Tour Through the Whole Island of Great Britain published by Everyman's Library in this 1st edition, thus in 1962. This is a revised edition with the addition of A Tour Through Scotland. The volumes are hardcover with pictorial dust jackets by Exell. The 2 volumes are in almost identical condition, both books VG with clean maroon boards and faded gilt. Moderate edge wear. Seller's stamp on front endpapers. Otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked. Tight bindings. The dust jackets are VG with still bright color. Moderate edge wear, scuffing and micro chips. The DJs are not price-clipped and are protected in mylar.
