Description: This is an incredible matched Brazilian rosewood oval dining room table bought by us from Scan Design in 1978. The table measures 83" but has a leaf that is under the table and pivots up in place. This adds another 23.5 inches. In our original home the table was in an interior room. When we moved to Sarasota the dining room was close to the front windows. We had a runner on the table and there is some slight fading on the sides on half of the table, one side slightly more than the other. The table has a few surface scratches from 46 years of use and one ding from a chandelier crystal falling down, Where you position the table determines how much you notice the fade. These imperfections absolutely do not detract from the table's overall beauty.At this selling price you can choose either do enjoy it as is or have it refinished. This rosewood table is no longer made by any company or available anywhere. If you would like, I have the original table pads that we had made for the table.Since I don't know where this table will go the buyer needs to arrange for and pay for shipping but I will do whatever needs to be done for that shipping.
