Review Superbly entertaining, the perfect read for Scotlands long dark winter evenings -- Ken Lussey * Undiscovered Scotland *A really atmospheric book. Best set aside for a cold, dark winters evening in front of a roaring log fire! * Women Together *A great mood setter for anyone relishing the approach of Halloween * Inverness Courier *Like most really good ghost stories, there is an element of fact or historical myth surrounding it to make the tale that much more authentic. The author also has the knack of keeping the reader hanging on his words to try and find out what was the cause of the tale * Army Rumours *Croft Dickinson draws on true stories and real people, and has a nicely understated writing style * Scottish Field * Details ISBN1846976561 Format Hardcover Pages 224 Year 2023 ISBN-13 9781846976568 Publication Date 2023-10-05 Imprint Polygon An Imprint of Birlinn Limited Subtitle A Collection of Ghost Stories Place of Publication Edinburgh Country of Publication United Kingdom NZ Release Date 2023-10-05 UK Release Date 2023-10-05 Illustrations 12 Line drawings, black and white ISBN-10 1846976561 Author Alistair W.J.
