This special marble has one of the most amazing examples of a sparkling dichroic stripe that I have ever seen...period. Many bonafide dichroic stripe marbles have the dichroic material either burnt out or so thin that it just resembles a standard glass swirl...you simply can't tell if it is dichroic or not. It could absolutely be dichroic, but if it doesn't sparkle, then you can't really tell easily. So, then who really cares, right? Nobody. So, here is one marble to show as a centerpiece of any collection. It can truthfully be used as a teaching tool...such as "Here's exactly what a dichroic stripe on a modern custom made marble should look like". Period. The pop and sizzle is just amazing and I know you won't be disappointed. If you don't have a dichroic marble, this is a great one to have. If you already have a couple dichroic marbles, then this one will be a nice marble to show as a comparison of what a "10" dichroic marble should look like. I try my best to take high resolution pictures with flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with flash to shown as much of the fine details as possible. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.729" in diameter as measured by electronic calipers. Note: there are a couple of large green aventurine flakes that photographed darker and they could be misunderstood as flaws. These are absolutely not flaws and in hand these flakes absolutely look like green flakes of aventurine. Please don't worry about the way these flakes photographed...this marble has no flaws.
