It looks great hung in any setting. The vintage poster was produced to go along with David Hockney's New Drawings show at Salts in 1994. At the time, the dogs Stanley and Boodge were eight and six respectively, and Hockney's adored companions. His extensive study of them – which was three months in the making and required meticulous planning on behalf of the artist, who set up easels around his house in order to capture them quickly in various natural poses – is a testament to how he cherished them. This poster is now over 26 years old! Overall the condition is excellent. Due to its age, there may be some *minor yellowing visible on the white bottom edge which would be disguised by framing.
