Description: TED DE GRAZIA - PEPITO BURRO DECOUPAGE + ACRYLIC OVERLAY 9-3/4 X 7-1/2 INCH WALL HANGING - - You are bidding on a Ted De Grazia print that has been mounted on wood using decoupage and then the artist's brush strokes have been imitated by brushing acrylic over the print. The hanging is 9-3/4 by 7-1/2 by 5/8 inch (approx) pine wood with sawtooth hanging device on reverse. The De Grazia description is on reverse. Decoupage is a visible art form created by gluing paper onto a board rough sanding the edges and fine sand all over to get an apprearance that seems to be popping out of the wood. Then a coating with usually several layers of finish (such as lacquer or varnish) is applied. And in this case acrylic brush strokes were also added. There is a lot of time and talent in making one of these! In excellent condition with no marks, dings or scratches. Photos and scans at 1.5X and 5X show the complete lot..
